In April fifteen Bigfoot RVs traveled to the historic gold mining town of Columbia located in the hills of central California. BOCI members joined us from as far away as Oregon and Southern California.
The highlights of the five day mini-rally were touring the historic gold mining town of Columbia and the 1897 Historic "Movie" Railroad State Park. The clubhouse at the Marble Quarry RV Park was the gathering place for a Friday night potluck and a Sunday potluck brunch. The main centerpieces on the tables were silver pans filled with colorful rock candy and gold balls. We all tried out luck at panning for gold, candy that is!
At the camp members gathered for visiting, sharing Bigfoot RV adventures and evening campfires. As we said our goodbyes many members said they were looking forward to seeing one another again at the next mini-rally or our national rally this Fall in Cody, Wyoming.
